After a week off, the Riverfield Raiders took the field last Friday night in the MAIS class 4A Quarter Final playoffs.
The Raiders came out on top in the match up defeating the Columbia Academy Cougars from Columbia, Miss., by a score of 38-26.
The Mangham Dragons swept past the Vidalia Vikings 42-6 last Friday.
The win boosts the Dragons to 7-2 overall and 4-1 in District 2-2A play.
Friday the Dragons will host the Madison Jaguars in a district match. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 1-8 overall and 1-5 in district play.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Rayville 24, Madison 12
The Rayville Hornets defeated the Madison Jaguars 24-12 last Friday night during a district game.
In a Thursday night match-up the Riverfield Raiders traveled to Clinton, Miss., to play the Clinton Christian Warriors.
It was the final game of the regular season for the Raiders and they took the victory by a score of 56-8. The win gave the Raiders a perfect 10-0 season.
The Rayville Hornets had the week off last Friday night.
This week the Hornets are preparing to travel to Tallulah to take on the Madison Parish High School Jaguars in a district game.
The Hornets come into the match at 2-5 overall and 2-2 in district play while the Jaguars are 1-7 overall and 1-4 in district.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. in Tallulah.
General Trass 50, Delhi Charter 13
General Trass topped Delhi Charter School 50-13 last Friday night.
The Rayville Hornets defeated the Delhi Charter School Gators 20-15 last Friday night.
The victory boosts the Hornets to 2-5 overall and 2-2 in District 2-2A.
The loss drops the Gators to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in district.
The Hornets will travel to Tallulah Frday night to play a district game against Madison Parish High School. Madison comes into the game at 1-6 overall and 1-3 in district.
The Gators will host General Trass Friday night. General Trass comes into the match at 3-4 overall and 2-2 in district.
