Amelia Teresa DelRio Kennedy

Graveside services for Amelia Teresa DelRio Kennedy, 64, of Start, were held Saturday, October 17, 2020 Start Cemetery, Start, with Sister Shirley Davidson and Dewayne DelRio officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Teresa was born March 6, 1956 in Delhi and passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Monroe.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Keith Allen; parents, David and Marie DelRio; and her brothers, Gene Arden DelRio, Frisco Eddie DelRio, Don DelRio, Quinn “Q.T.” DelRio, Earl Keeton, and Johnny Bolin.

Monia Joyner

Graveside memorial services for Mrs. Monia Joyner of Mangham will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Lone Cherry Baptist Cemetery near Mangham with Rev. Doyle Adams officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.

Manuel Courtney

Manuel “Bill” Courtney, 79, was born January 25, 1941 in Pollard, Ala., and died September 11, 2020. 

He lived south of Waverly.

Graveside services were held Sept. 15, 202 at Presbyterian Church at Union with Pastor David Mosley officiating.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jack and Ivy Kennedy Courtney of Pollard, Ala.; and his infant son.

Howard L. Hudson Jr.

Rev. Howard L. Hudson Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 3:27 p.m. He was born in Galion, located in Morehouse Parish on February 28, 1927.  Howard served in the U.S. Navy for four years before pursuing his education while working on ranches, boxing, and preaching before graduating from Vanderbilt University. Winning the North Louisiana Golden Gloves tournament gave him the nickname of “fighting parson.”

Michael Allan Lytle

Michael Allan Lytle died October 6, 2020 in Monroe, after a short illness. 

He was born March 25, 1939, in Yellville, Arkansas, to Wallace Walker Lytle and Grace Byers Lytle. Mike was reared in Batesville, AR where he graduated from high school and attended Hendrix College in Conway, AR.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Finister, and spouse, L.D. In 1971, Michael married Maggie Barmore in Mangham where they lived until her death in 2018.
