James Fred Herrington

Graveside services for James Fred Herrington, 85, of Monroe, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA with Bro. Cecil Herrington officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.  

Mr. Fred was born May 16, 1933 in Thomaston, GA and passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 in Monroe, LA.

Bobby Dale Burnley

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Bobby Dale “Bob” Burnley, and yet we celebrate and honor his incredible 86 years of life as a a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. 

 The Family received friends and family in Feazel Chapel Sunday September 16, 2018  for a celebration of his life and legacy with Dr. Mark Fenn officiating.  As a believer in Jesus Christ, Bob lived his life in faith with his wife, Glenda, and was a member of First Baptist Church, West Monroe.

Jane Cole

Mrs. Jane Cole, 79, of Start, was born April 26, 1939 in Atlanta, TX passed away, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her residence. 

Mrs. Jane is preceded in death by her husband, of 57 years, H. Andrew Cole; sister, Peggy Gibbons; and her parents, James and Doris Alton.

Mrs. Cole was a humble servant of The Lord and His flock. She has been a church pianist since she was a teenager.

Jean Marie Whitten

Funeral services for Jean Marie Whitten, 89, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. William L. Smith officiating. 

Interment will follow at Start Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Whitten was born June 15, 1929, in Queens, NY, and passed away September 6, 2018, in Monroe, LA.  Jean retired from Verizon.

Mrs. Whitten was preceded in death by her parents, John Eugene Stager and Mae McDevitt Stager.

Fred E. Robertson

Fred E. Robertson saw his Jesus face to face on August 29, 2018. 

Born on November 24, 1928, he was 89.  He was loved and admired for his great wisdom and his sense of humor.  Fred was the youngest son of Jimmie Deal Robertson and Oscar Brothers Robertson.
