The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of July 22-29.
• Donald Jones, 62; 4636 Hwy. 80, Rayville; domestic abuse battery and driving under suspension.
• Frederick Wheeler, 42; 1902 Louisa St., Rayville; disturbing the peace (general).
• Jessie Taylor, 49; 109 A Coenen Drive, Rayville; filing a false police report.
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is accepting deer lottery hunt applications for physically challenged hunters on Sabine and Floy McElroy Wildlife Management Areas and disabled veterans on Camp Beauregard WMA for the 2018-19 hunting season.
These special hunts are restricted to hunters selected through the lottery application process. These hunts offer the opportunity for selected hunters to experience an enjoyable, wildlife oriented outdoor experience on these WMAs.
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is accepting applications for youth lottery deer and waterfowl hunts on LDWF Wildlife Management Areas for the 2018-19 hunting season.
Youth lottery deer hunts will be held on Buckhorn, Dewey W. Wills, Floy Ward McElroy, Richard K. Yancey and Sherburne WMAs. Youth lottery waterfowl hunts will be held on Bayou Pierre and Sherburne WMAs.

• Annette Reynolds, 45; 105 Kelsey Street, Rayville; simple battery.
• Donald Brown, 78; 12284 Journeys End, Mer Rouge; driving under suspension and speeding.
• Katrina Friedman, 30; 1200 Hooks Drive, Hammond; disturbing the peace (general) and resisting arrest (two counts).
• Alisa Lee, 35; 206 Ashley St., Rayville; no insurance and improper backing with an accident.
The University of Louisiana Monroe has announced the President’s and Dean’s lists for the spring 2018 semester.
To be on the President’s list a student must earn at least a 3.9 GPA with a minimum of 12 hours. To be on the Dean’s list the requirements are a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 12 hours.
