Rayville Family Clinic wins award

United Healthcare Community Plan of Louisiana has awarded and recognized Rayville Family Clinic as a Top Provider in the RHC/FQHC Category.

The clinic is proud to receive the Providers United for Good award from UnitedHeathcare and honored to be one of only 33 providers recognized statewide. UnitedHealthcare Community Plan understands the provider community makes the difference for member’s health outcomes. It’s because of the tremendous work on behalf of our members that Rayville Family Clinic has been recognized for delivering great patient care as well as great efficiency. 

Police Report

The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of June 11-17.

• LaTonya Johnson, 36; 222 Russell St., Rayville; disturbing the peace (general).

• Byron Rucker, 26; 225 Russell St., Rayville; disturbing the peace (general) and no driver’s license.

• Monterius Fletcher, 19; 222 Russell St., Rayville; simple battery and damage to property.

• Tyra Kelly, 18; 138 B South Circle Drive, Rayville; disturbing the peace (general).

Police Report

The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of June 4-10.

• Dylan Grimm, 24; 1243 Hwy. 867, Winnsboro; no driver’s license.

• Jacob Fitt, 24; 188 Humphries Road, Winnsboro; failure to appear on greater less than $300, two counts of failure to appear on driving under suspension, failure to appear on no proof of insurance, four counts of failure to appear on speeding, failure to appear on theft greater than $300 less than $500 and no proof of insurance.

Parish schools provide free summer meals

The Richland Parish School Board  is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

Meals will be provided to all eligible children without charge. Acceptance and participating requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. 

Meals will be provided at Delhi and Rayville high schools.
