Holly Ridge Happenings

Today I want to start the day with You on my mind and in my heart. As I dress, let me wear the armor You’ve provided daily;  The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, the shoes of peace, and the sword of the Spirit with prayer on my tongue. Praise for You and Petitions for those around me and those I meet. Amen!

Down for a visit on Friday was my cousin Don and Ester Sistrunk from Bastrop. We had a good visit to remember years back. You know, some time I think it is good to just think and remember!

Things Remembered

Many people give engraved items in honor of a special day or shared moment. If you have received such a gift, you know what a treasure it can become. People like to remember happy times and significant events. Memories are precious; they keep us connected to people, places, and events that have shaped us and influence our lives.

Rest is a weapon given to us by God! The enemy hates it because he wants you to be stressed and occupied! Thank God for the seasons of Rest and Refreshing. God will carry you through the storm. Nothing that has happened to you is a surprise to God. God will still get ou to where you are supposed to be.

Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone! If you have a sweetheart, love them while you can, life is short!

I’m so grateful to all who care and come by and say “We just come by to check on you.” You will never know what that means to me or anyone else. Thanks!
