Love

It isn’t a fairytale or a storybook, and it doesn’t always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define and impossible to live without. Love is work, but most of all Love is realizing that every hour, every minute and every second was worth it because you  did it together.

Rest is a weapon given to us by God! The enemy hates it because he want to to be stressed and occupied! Thank God fo the seasons of Rest and Refreshing. God will carry you through the storm. Nothing that has happened to you is a surprise to God. God will still get you to where your are supposed to be.

If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. -- 2 Chronicles 7:14

Visiting with Terry and Denise over the weekend was Terrah Johnson, Emalynn and grandson, Hudson, from Shreveport. They came over and visited with me on Saturday. I did enjoy them.

Ships don’t sink because of the water around them. Ships sink because of the water that gets inside of them. Moral of the story, don’t let what is happening around you, get inside of you and weigh you down.

Our love and prayers go out to all who are on our church prayer list and we do have several.

I will praise You, Oh Lord today. You are my good Father, my good Shepard, my amazing Savior who gave Your very life to save me from death.
