Let God’s word fill your mind, rule your heart and guide your tongue. Jesus loves you.

“The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” -- Job 33:4

Mrs. Mary Russell (ole granny) called and asked me to relate to everyone how much the COA enjoyed the cookies and punch on February 12th that was provide by the R.P.S.O. They also enjoyed playing bingo with them!

It isn’t a fairytale or a storybook, and it doesn’t always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, and impossible to live without. Love is work, but most of all Love is realizing that every hour, every minute, and every second was worth it because you did it together.

Jesus Calling

Accept yourself and your circumstances just as they are, remembering that I am sovereign over everything. Do not wear yourself out with analyzing and planning. Instead, let thankfullness and trust be you guides through out the day. They will keep you close to Me.

As you live in the radiance of My Presence,  My Peace shines upon you. You will cease to notice how weak or strong you feel, because you will be focusing on Me. The best way to get through this day is step by step with ME.

Grandma used to say, “It’s better to go to a funeral than it is to a party because a funeral makes you think about eternity.”

As a kid, I thought this was weird. As an adult man, it makes perfect sense. Parties don’t last, but death does, and death comes to us all. The Bible says God has placed eternity in the heart of every man. We all think about where we will go when we die.

The lights don’t just “go out” and we cease to exist. No. Our real life begins. We either go on to live forever with God in Heaven, or forever without Him in a bad, bad place.
