Oh face to face with trouble, friend, I have often stood to learn that pain hath sweetness, to know that God is good. Arise and meet the daylight. Be strong and do your best, with an honest heart and a childlike trust that God will do the rest.

Our heartfelt love, prayers and sympathy goes out to the Cheek family and McVay family in the loss of their loved one, “Lil” Freddie Joe McVay Jr. Only God knows how much it hurts. He is able to relive all pain and heartache. May God bless each one touched by his passing.

Two absolute facts:

1. God chose the color of my skin and sex.

2. I am not about to apologize for His decisions. Period! End of discussion. 

Many turn from Jesus because of a bad experience with religious people. But know this, Jesus also had a bad experience with religious people. He was killed by them. Religion will not save you. Only Jesus Saves!

Strength for the Day is dedicated to time and healing for the second week of April and a happy birthday to those who are born in this month.
