Sometimes God will put a Goliath in your life, for you to find the David within you. God wanted you to be alive at this exact moment in time, and for a specific purpose. That’s how special you are to Him. See Acts 17:26-28.

“So shall my word be that goes forth from My mouth: It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11. 

I repeat this phrase to my kids over and over each day. 

Because there are about a million things they pick up that either aren’t theirs or aren’t good for them. As I caught myself repeating this yet again today, I wondered how many times each day God says something similar to me. 

Set it down. The jealousy. Because whatever it is they have that you want ultimately won’t make you happy. It won’t satisfy you the way you think it will. And holding on to jealousy won’t do anything but destroy you. 

As long as we have memories, yesterday remains. As long as we have hope, tomorrow waits. As long as we have love, today is beautiful. As long as you have GOD, anything and everything is possible. Amen. No what what tomorrow brings, God is still in control. Jesus! The greatest gift I’ve ever received is Your Love. Thank you for giving Your Life for me!
