Happy New Year from me to you.

Simple truths to repeat when you’re in a spiritual battle.

God’s got this the Lord fights for me. Jesus Loves me, Not today, satan, I am a child of God. He is able. It is finished. His Grace is sufficient. Joy comes in the morning. I am not alone. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Fear has no grip on me. Christ is enough for me. He has overcome the world. I am a new creation in Christ. Jesus conquered the grave. Sin doesn’t define me, Christ does. Be still and know God is good.

A King

Christmas, a time of wonder and joy, A time to celebrate the birth of a baby boy.

A child innocent and true. A child sent as a gift to save me and you, this wondrous story has reached all corner’s of the globe. A King is born but one who doesn’t wear a royal robe.

He will grow to teach and to love. He will spread the word of His Father above. He gentle ways and His touch will turn water to wine. This newborn child is wondrous and divine.

Lord, heal  this land. It’s full of Your precious kids. Many who’ve turned their backs on you, forgetting all You’ve done for them. I am praying that Christians across America would come back to life by the wind of Your Spirit. Move in their families. Move in their hearts. Draw us to our knees.

Spending the weekend with Tanya Thompson was Niki Thompson, Teagen and Teirra from Vicksburg. Saturday, they were joined by Juri and Maria Thompson and Little Aubree at the home of Kyle and Mara Browns for a Thanksgiving feast. Everyone did enjoy it.

Be Thankful

The same God that said, “In this life you will have trouble,” also said, “I’ll never leave you nor forsake you.”

Life  can hurt. It can feel hopeless and defeating. But our God walks every inch of it with us, and He never backs out on His word.

Be Thankful.

Consider it but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
