Myrtis Dean Mann

Funeral services for Myrtis Dean Mann, 99, of Belcher, formally of Rayville were held Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Richland United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Shay Mann, Pastor Jeff Storey, and Rev. Robert McGaha officiating. 

Interment followed in the McKnight Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Myrtis Dean Mann passed away on December 11, 2020 at her son’s residence in Belcher.

Carl Edward Childress

Funeral services for Mr. Carl Edward “Hawkeye” Childress of Mangham, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Calvary Baptist Church in Mangham with Rev. Terry Ganey officiating.  

Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery near Mangham under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.  Visitation will be from noon until time of service Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Childress was born March 22, 1942 in Mangham and passed from this life on December 11, 2020 in West Monroe at the age of 78. 

Lillian Keasler Brantly

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Keasler “Tinker” Brantly, 88, were Friday, December 4, 2020, at Delhi Presbyterian Church in Delhi. 

Officiating were the Rev Paul Lipe and the Rev Chris Wright.

Visitation was December 4, 2020 at Delhi Presbyterian Church prior to the funeral services

Interment followed for family only at Delhi Masonic Cemetery in Delhi, Louisiana, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.

Thomas E. Hagood

Graveside services for Thomas E. Hagood, 83, of Rayville, were held Friday, December 4, 2020, at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, with Bro. Charles Ellzey and Bro. Ed Avants officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mr. Thomas was born September 18, 1937 in Rayville and passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 in Rayville.

Mr. Thomas was a veteran with the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Avel Hagood.

Vince Tamburo

A local legend, Vince Tamburo, died Thursday, November 26, 2020, at the Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi from complications related to cancer.

Vince leaves behind his brothers, Gerald Tamburo and wife, Barbara, and Jimmy Tamburo and wife, Carolyn; two nieces, Alyssa Tamburo and April Zell; a nephew, Scottie Bullock; and great nieces and nephews, Celeste Williams, Anthony Rocco, Austin Bullock and Blake Bullock.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jim Vincent Tamburo (1977), his mother, Josephine Helen Battaglia Tamburo (2018) and a niece, Amber Nicole Tamburo (2010).
