Carolyn Sue Day

Celebration of life services for Mrs. Carolyn Sue Day, 77 of Rayville, will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the Rayville First Assembly of God with Rev. Mike Jackson officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Northeast Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, from 5-7 p.m and from 11 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the Rayville First Assembly of God.  

Madge Olene Huff

Funeral services for Madge Olene Huff, 90, of Oil City, were held Monday, January 20, 2020 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville,  with Bro. Don Givler, Bro. Brian Krier, and Bro. Ronald Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the Gwin Cemetery, Mangham.

Mrs. Madge was born Dec. 10, 1929 in Shreveport and passed away Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 in Oil City.

Myrna Kirk Lockwood

Graveside services for Myrna Kirk Lockwood, 72, of Eros, LA were held  Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, with Bro. Neil Wigley officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Myrna was born December 28, 1947 in Rayville and passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 in West Monroe.

Mrs. Myrna is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Myrna Kirk; and sons, Alvin Laron Smith and Curtis Henry Lockwood.

Wilma Tower McNaughton

Wilma Tower McNaughton, 80,  born May 13, 1939, of Pahrump Nevada, formerly of Rayville, passed away on January 9, 2020 after a lengthly illness.

Mrs. McNaughton is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Stella Tower, and her son, James Robert McNaughton.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth McNaughton Linder, and two grandchildren, Ptolemy Linden and Evangeline Linden.

Jack Monroe Thomason

Jack Monroe Thomason, aged 88, passed away January 11, 2020, at Clearlake Regional Hospital in Houston. 

He was born in Alto, Louisiana on August 13, 1931, to Stanley and Ethyl Thomason. 

Jack was a long time resident of Houston but returned to Alto with his late wife, Joyce Thomason, where they enjoyed retirement on the old home place and the wonderful people of Alto, Louisiana.

Jack was pre-deceased by his wife Joyce Thomason; step-son Norman Hall; Mother and Father; three brothers, Jimmy, Larry, and Jerry; and Sister, Sissy.
