Walter Boren

Funeral services for Walter “Bo” Boren, 84, of Rayville, were held  Friday, August 6, 2021 at Eastside Baptist Church, Rayville, with Bro. Chris Crawford, Bro. Johnny Smith, and Bro. Jeff Thomas officiating.

Interment followed in the State Cemetery, Start, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mr. Bo was born May 27, 1937 in Epps and passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in Rayville. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church for many years. He is preceded in death by his brother, James L. Boren; and his daughter, Donna Marie Boren.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Frances Boren of Rayville; children, Janet (Mike) Caston of Rayville and Walter Boren Jr. of Downsville; grandsons, Justin Boren of Calhoun, Jacob Boren of Downsville, Tyler Boren of Downsville and Spencer Caston of Rayville; sister, Lucy Manning of Calhoun; and his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers were Justin Boren, Jacob Boren, Tyler Boren, Spencer Caston, Billy Boren and Jamey Rich.
