Simual Wayne Flint

lint passed away on August 21, 2021 at the age of 74.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary Kaye McKinstry Flint; his children, Danna Renae Flint Kjar (Shawn), Alan Wayne Flint and Deborah “Debbie” Gaye Flint; his grandchildren, Shellie Marie Robert Richardson, Michael Wayne Flint, Cody Steven Flint, Jason Lance Robert (Rachel) and Ryan Douglas Flint (Kayla Brumfield); his great grandchildren, Fallon Day Richardson, Raelynn Michelle Flint, Skylar Gray Robert and Parker Ryan Flint.

He is also survived by his siblings James Earl Flint (Sallie Pohl Flint), Barbara Ann Flint Richards and Joy Christa Flint.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jefferson Earl “EJ” Flint and Pearl Adell Johnson Flint and his siblings LaJuana Pearl Flint Henry (Jackie Lee Henry) and Simual Farrell Flint.

Bo was born in Tunica, Miss., on February 7, 1947. He was a graduate of Rayville High School in 1965. He was a hard worker, dedicating 32+ years of work at Syngenta.

Bo enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was hunting, sitting around a campfire or just appreciating a nice afternoon sitting on the front porch. Bo loved sports, especially his LSU Tigers baseball. Bo was a simple man and worked hard to provide a blessed life for his family. The love he had for his family was beyond words. He had a kind soul and would help anybody in need. He also always knew how to make you smile, quite the jokester he was. This loving, laid back, opinion giving person will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Bo’s Life on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales. The gathering will begin at noon with a Celebration of his Life starting at 2 p.m.
