Shirley Mae Bledsoe

Funeral services for Shirley Mae Bledsoe, 74, of Rayville, will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, with Dr. Alan Miller officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Lone Cherry Cemetery, Mangham, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Shirley was born February 15, 1948, in Rayville and passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, in Rayville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Corneila Allen; brothers, James Aaron, Billy Aaron, Willie Allen and Donald Allen; and her sisters, Betty Spencer, Elsie Aaron, and Grace Allen.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Bobby “Buddy” Bledsoe of Rayville; children, Glen Bledsoe and wife, Whitney, of Rayville, Chad Bledsoe of Rayville, and Shanna Miller of Rayville; grandchildren, Zoey Bledsoe, Hannah Punchard and husband, Aaron, and Cole Miller; great-grandchildren, Aliannah Punchard and Tate Punchard; sister, Judy Hendrix; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Len Spencer, Chris Spencer, Quincy Allen, Shane Pitman, Cole Miller and Aaron Punchard.

Visitation will be 1–3 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville.
