Ruby Doris Temple

Funeral services for Ruby Doris Temple, 74, of Rayville, were held  Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Midway Baptist Church, Holly Ridge, with Bro. Glen Collins officiating.

Interment followed in the McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Ruby was born April 14, 1944 in Rayville, LA and passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Ruby was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Yeates; daughter, Dianne Clark; and brothers, Cleo Yeates and Leo Yeates.

Survivors include her husband of 46 Years, Michael Temple of Rayville; children, Renee Ables and husband, Mike of Coleman, OK, Tony Hodge and wife, Barbara of Euless, TX, and Tamara Temple of Gainesville, FL; brother, Wayne Yeates and wife, Mary of Bear Lake, LA; grandchildren, Danielle, Michael “Bubba”, Michael, Cassie, Mekahla, Margaret, Christopher, and Josh; and  six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Brad Poston, Brad Stricklin, Scotty Owen, Tristen Owen, Benjamin Collins, and Caleb Collins.
