Robert Lee McCarty

Funeral services for Robert Lee McCarty, 91, of Rayville, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, at Brown-Holley Chapel, Rayville, with Bro. Roger Temple and Bro. Stanton Groan officiating. 

Interment will follow in Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mr. McCarty was born January 24, 1931, in Rayville and passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Monroe.

Mr. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Lonzo and Dora McCarty; sister, Lillie Van Hall.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Ouida McCarty; children, Anita Hunter and husband, John, Robert “Bobby” McCarty Jr; brother, James E. McCarty and Bonnie; aunt, Minta Rigsby; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are Eddie Earl, Raymond Greer, Herman Sanford, Greg Sanford, Jonathan Diebel and Terry Caviness.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
