Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of April 23 through May 1.

• Zadarian Edwards, 18, 409 Rosa St., Rayville; two counts of damage to property, failure to appear on illegal carrying of a weapon, failure to appear on resisting arrest, simple burglary and theft of a firearm.

• Bathsheba Gibson, 48, 204 Leo St., Rayville; theft. 

• Lasabrian Cooks, 24, 3501 Bon Aire Drive, Monroe; no driver’s license and speeding.

• Dazzmon Sledge, 41, 2123 Briarwood Drive, Coplay, PA; improperly parked vehicle on roadway and disobedience to a police officer. 

• ShaDerrica McMillion , 21, 209 Quail St., Rayville; failure to appear on disturbing the peace.

• Winston House, 32, 114 Meadowlark St., Rayville; failure to appear on damage to property and failure to appear on trespassing. 

• Demond Haynes, 27, 207 Quail St., Rayville; no driver’s license.

• Rachel Black, 33, 68 Black Road, Rayville; theft.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 31 traffic citations this week. 

That number includes 22 for speeding, two each for no proof of insurance and expired license plate one each for failure to carry registration, expired license, no license plate, no insurance and careless operation.
