Mildred Louise Wiggins Burroughs
Services for Mildred Louise Wiggins Burroughs, 95, of Rayville, were Friday, January 4, 2019 at the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home - Rayville with Dr. Eddie Wren officiating.
Burial followed at Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home - Rayville.
Ms. Burroughs loved the outdoors and working in her yard was a passion she thoroughly enjoyed. She dearly loved her family. Attending church and reading the Bible was a very important part of her life. Ms. Burroughs was a devoted New Orleans Saints fan and watched them faithfully on TV. She loved cooking and sharing food with others and especially during the Christmas Holidays.
Ms. Burroughs was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Burroughs.
She is survived by her three children: Michael Burroughs and wife Jean of West Monroe, Barry Burroughs and wife Susan, Sterlington, and DiAnne Mitchell and husband, Roy of West Monroe. Eight grandchildren: Lisa Dunn, Mike Burroughs II, Jill Touchet, Casey Hollis, Josh Burroughs, Lea Ulmer, Brad Pope and Samantha Fletcher and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Doyle Hammons, Robert Federick, Chuck Bischell, Buddy Bradshaw, Jeff Wiggins, Nolan Cheek. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Bruce Magee, Dr. Albert Kerr, and Dr. Butch Dunn.
Visitation was at the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.
