Michael Collins Jr.

Memorial services for Michael “Mike” Collins Jr., 37, of Rayville, were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the Brown-Holley Chapel, Rayville, with Bro. DeWayne Fountain officiating. 

Mike was born September 24, 1985, in Monroe and passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, in West Monroe.

Mike was a sergeant with the US Army National Guard. He was proud member of the NELA EMS family for 12 years. He was also a volunteer firefighter with District 8 Fire Department for the last five years. 

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Jamie Collins of Rayville; parents, Pam White and husband, James of Rayville; father, Michael Collins Sr.; siblings, Angela Gill; Bo Clark and wife, Shannon, Dennis Clack and wife, Crystal, and Mark Collins; god daughter, Marlie “Tooter” Donald; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Gabby, Hannah, Corey, Hunter, Blake, Madeline and Brooklyn; numerous great nieces and great nephews; his NELA EMS family; and his District 8 FD brothers.
