Lottie Jean Coleman Gaspard

Lottie Jean Coleman Gaspard, 86, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Magnolia Place in New Albany, MS.

She was born July 27, 1936, in Delhi to the late James H. and Pertie Robbins Coleman. She was a former executive assistant and homemaker.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at First Baptist Church Houston with son-in-law, Dr. Jay Johnston, son, Johnny Wade Gaspard, Rev. Wayne Squyres and Rev. Jimmy Robertson officiating. Browning Funeral Home In Pontotoc is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.

Survivors include her children, Jerilyn Johnston (Jay) of Baton Rouge and Johnny Wade Gaspard (Mandy) of Pontotoc, MS; five grandchildren, John Grady Johnston (Ann), Jody Garrett Johnston (Olivia), Allie Mack Gaspard, Ella Jo Gaspard and Maggie Rose Gaspard; and four great-grandchildren, Chaucer, Xander, Davy and Remy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; James H. Coleman and Pertie Robbins Coleman; her husband Bro. Albert Lee Gaspard, who passed away on May 31, 2023; two sisters, Ruby E. Napier and Helen M. Guyton; and six brothers, Herman Coleman, J. Homer Coleman, Leroy Coleman, William Earl Coleman, Glen Coleman and Hilbun Coleman.
