Kattie Mae McLain Mosley

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Kattie Mae McLain Mosley, 86, of Rayville, were held Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, with Rev. Alvin Stowe officiating.  

Interment followed in the McKnight Cemetery in Holly Ridge.

Kattie Mae Mosley was born on July 23, 1936, in Epps, on the Epps Plantation and gained her angel wings on February 17, 2023. Kattie was the sweetest, most humble person and loved everyone, especially her new family at Legacy Rehabilitation Nursing Home.

Mrs. Mosley is preceded in death by her husband, George “Junior” Mosley; parents, Richard McLain and Leola McLain; sisters, Emma Hudson and Mary Lee Littleton; and her brother, Calvin McLain

Survivors include her son, Clifton Mosley and wife, Beth; daughters, Peggy Goodwin and husband, Donald, and Linda Ebald; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and her special children, Sara White and Mary Smith.

Pallbearers were Jeffrey Goodwin, J.D. Goodwin, Austin Mosley, Robert Mosley, Stephen Silk and Austin Silk.

Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Cook, Steve Tucker, Damian Goodwin, Dylan Goodwin and Dystan Jones.

Visitation was on Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe.
