John Lloyd Goodman Jr.

John Lloyd Goodman Jr., 69, was born January 24, 1953, in Delhi to John Lloyd Goodman Sr and Carolyn Marie Goodman. 

He passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in Delhi.

John is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tina Hammons; brother, Mark A. Goodman; nephew, Kyle Hammons; and father-in-law, Joe Comeaux.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dewanna Kay Comeaux Goodman; son, Taylor Goodman; daughter, Hanna Kate Goodman Henson and husband, Dustin T. Henson; grandson, Greyson Henson; sisters, Rose Marie Hoyt and husband, Charlie, Carla Jo Goodman Coleman and husband, Ron Coleman, of Alexandria; mother-in-law, Joanne Comeaux; brother-in-law, Jimmy Comeaux and wife, Dana; sister-in-law, Deanna Wollerson and husband, Dennis, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Ellzey officiating.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Woodlawn Baptist Church general fund or to St. Jude’s Research Hospital which was John’s favorite charity.

The family would like to give a special thanks and recognition to John’s best friends Chuck Tiepelman and Eric Johnson.
