Jerry Lynn Cobb

Funeral services for Jerry Lynn Cobb, 80, of Holly Ridge, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Strong officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mr. Jerry was born January 6, 1942, in Delhi and passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, in Delhi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ladale L. “Buster” Cobb and Danzel “Dan” Calloway Cobb; and grandson, Johnathan Sternitzky.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Diane Cobb of Holly Ridge; children, Steven Lynn Cobb and wife, Kerri, of Bellgrade, MT, Denice Carol Cobb of Monroe, MI, and Sheri Ann Biritz and husband, Steven, of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Blake Cobb, Kacie Cobb, Amber Jo Cobb, Amanda Diane Gurny and husband, Mike, Lia Biritz, Lauren Biritz, and Sarah Biritz; great grandchildren, Aspin Cobb and Elliot Gurny; brother, Emmett “Inky” Cobb and wife, Paula; sisters, Sue Cobb, Cheryl Kirk and husband, Tim; and his numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 19, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Holly Ridge.
