Earlene Y. Medlin

Funeral services for Earlene Y. Medlin, 85, of Monroe, will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Rayville, with Bro. Scott Howell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Earlene was born July 31, 1936, in Hattiesburg, MS, and passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, in Monroe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Medlin; son, Thomas Freddie Yates Jr.; and her parents, Earl and Stella Patrick; 

Survivors include her daughter, Kayla Joy Yates; daughter-in-law, Alice Yates; grandchildren, Andrew Bamburg Jr., Summer Yates Jones, Dawn Yates Whitstine and husband, Josh, Brandon Bamburg and Erin Yates Dove and husband, Brandon; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Claudie Patrick, Vickie Thomas and Ronnie Patrick; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Smith, Gage Yates, Peyton Thompson, Logan Whitstine, Dakota Anderson and Jacob Bamburg.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Ouachita Healthcare and Rehab for taking good care of Mrs. Earlene.
