Charles Ray Fortenberry

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Ray Fortenberry of Rayville will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville with Sis. Shirley Davidson officiating. 

Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery near Winnsboro under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Fortenberry was born August 28, 1950 in Wisner and passed from this life on November 30, 2020 in Rayville at the age of 70.  He was an employee with Jitney Jungle and Brookshire’s for over 25 years.  He enjoyed hunting and loved to drive tractors and big trucks.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Odell Fortenberry.

Survivors include his wife, Vada Fortenberry of Rayville; his step-son, William McIntosh and wife, Pam of Hamburg, AR; his sister, Patricia Cornwell of Rayville; his brother, James Fortenberry and wife, June of Newellton; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers are William McIntosh, Cole Hicks, Dalton Hicks, Kenny Olivo, Sr., Kenny Olivo, Jr., and Jamie Fortenberry.
