Charles Ray Burgess

Graveside services for Charles Ray Burgess, 63, of Tallulah, were held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Gwin Cemetery in Mangham, with Bro. Claude Maddox officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home Rayville.

Mr. Charles was born August 4, 1959, in Rayville and passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in Tallulah. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert S. Burgess Sr.; and sister, Judy Burgess Wyatt. 

Survivors include his mother, Jessie Hamm Burgess of Tallulah; siblings, Charlotte D. Burgess of Delhi, Kimberly Anne Moore of Forest and Robert S. Burgess Jr. of Tallulah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Mike Linder, David Petch, Billy Moore, Joshua Moore, Willie Carr and Evan Antley.
