Carolyn Jean Smith

Funeral services for Carolyn Jean Smith, 75, of Mangham, were held Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Cedar Baptist Church, Archibald, with Bro. Mike Loveday and Bro. Caleb Parks. 

Interment followed in the Little Creek Methodist Cemetery, Archibald, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Carolyn was born November 2, 1946, in Archibald, and passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, West Monroe.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Margarette Woodward; siblings, Mary Adcock, Buddy Woodward and Virginia Olivo; and in-laws, Carey Sr., and Ruby Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Carey Ellis Smith Jr.; children, Hope Jones and husband, Ricky, Mike Smith and wife, Christi, and Jennifer Pierce and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Cody Jones, Brittany Smart and husband, Daniel, Landon Smith, Lexie Gantt and husband, Kash, Seth Smith, Logan White and husband, Brent, Anna Marie Pierce and Allie Pierce; great-grandchildren, Chase Smart, Cason Smart, Kennedy Smart, Noah White and Ava White; siblings, Nancy Elkins and husband, John, Angela Nezat and husband, Chris, Lisa Harris and husband, Billy, Bobby Woodward and wife, Ava, Gary Woodward and wife, Patricia, and Sue Simmons.

Pallbearers were Cody Jones, Daniel Smart, Landon Smith, Seth Smith, Brent White and Kash Gantt.
