Save the Date: Rayville

The Rayville Rosenwald/Eula D. Britton School Reunion will be held on June 17-19.

We are very excited to inform you this year Juneteenth is a featured part of our celebration.

Another very important part of our school reunion celebration is the unveiling and dedication of our Rayville Rosenwald/Eula D. Britton Historical Marker and Legacy Brick Monument.

This is a huge accomplishment for our former school and for the Town of Rayville. We are requesting all of the citizens of Rayville come out to the short Historical Marker and Legacy Brick Monument Celebration from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on June 17.

 We have invited some exciting personalities to help us celebrate this occasion and we want the entire town to share in this very important historical moment. 

Please join with us. Even if you are not a graduate of Eula D. Britton, many of your family members are.  So please come out in honor of those family members.

All events will be held at the Rayville Rosenwald/Eula D. Britton Alumni Center. Reunion/Juneteenth activities will include:

• Reunion Registration /Meet and Greet from 10 a.m. to noon on June 17. (Free refreshments).

• Unveiling and Dedication of Eula D. Britton Historical Marker and Legacy Brick Monument, 12:30-1:30 p.m.

• Night in White Affair (all white attire, casual elegant) featuring hor’doeurves, BYOB. Entry is $30 beginning at 8 p.m.

• Brunch and Down Memory Lane Program from 10 a.m. to noon on July 18. Entry is $25.

• Banquet from 6-74:45 p.m. on July 18. Entry is $55.

• Black and Gold Ball (black and gold attire, dress) featuring music and BYOB beginning at 8 p.m.

• Ecumenical service and memorial service remembering family members and others from 8-9:30 a.m. June 19.
