Police Report
The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Aug. 1-8.
• Amanda West, 33, 214 Dacron St., Rayville; disturbing the peace (general).
• Thaddeus West, 38, 214 Cotton St., Rayville; simple battery.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of three traffic citations this week.
That number includes one each for speeding, no driver’s license and improper turning with an accident.

Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson and his staff were invited to an appreciation luncheon Aug. 5 at Greater New Beginnings Christian Ministry Church.
Chief Robinson would like to thank the Rev. Harold McCoy and his congregation for acknowledging the hard work and dedication the workers of the Rayville Police Department and the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office put into their jobs.
The Rev. McCoy also presented him with a plaque which showed his appreciation.
Chief Robinson would like to say his officers and staff would continue to do a phenomenal job at keeping the streets and citizens of Rayville safe.
