Political Announcement

My sincere thanks to the people of Richland Parish for allowing me to serve as your Clerk of Court for the past two terms.  I am a candidate in the upcoming election for the office of the Clerk of Court.  I have 33-plus years working in the Richland Parish Clerk of Court’s Office, with 7 of those years serving as your Clerk. 

Beginning at an entry level in this office impressed upon me the essential importance of handling all records with accuracy and efficiency.  Hands-on experience and knowledge have provided to me the ability to direct the processing of civil, criminal and personal business proceedings. As Clerk, I have the responsibility of supervising and managing staff members and fiscal affairs.  The vast experience and knowledge I have gained from my years working in this office qualifies me to continue to be your Clerk of Court.

When first elected to this office, I assured the people of this parish that the Clerk of Court’s office would be accessible to everyone; all would be welcome and receive assistance in a skillful, courteous, and efficient manner.  I have made every effort to accomplish this, and I pledge to continue that effort with the help of my staff.

I’m asking for your CONFIDENCE, TRUST, AND VOTE to allow me to continue to serve in this capacity by Re-electing me, Stacie Williamson, as your Clerk of Court.  

As you know, Election Day is October 12, 2019.  My plan is to personally visit as many of you as possible.  If I fail to visit with you, please accept my apology.  Feel free to call me with any question you may have.
