Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Oct. 30 through Nov. 6.

• Theft of firearm, 

• Failure to appear.

• Resisting arrest.

• Illegal carrying of a weapon.

• Possession of concealed weapon by felon.

• Speeding.

• Driving under suspension.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 10 traffic citations this week. 

That includes six for speeding and one each for expired license plate, disturbing the peace by loud music, driver under suspension and expire driver’s license.

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner and staff would like to thank everyone for coming out to the 2nd Annual Community Trunk ‘R Treat. 

Chief Turner stated he was very pleased with the outcome of the event. He stated he is very proud to say there was no problems at all at the event and it was great that everyone was able to come together and have fun.
