Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson there is zero tolerance for stealing.

“If it does not belong to you, do not touch it,” he said. “You will  be arrested and go to jail if you are caught stealing.”

He stated if you see something you want, you should pay for it.

“If you don’t have the money to buy it at the moment, just get it when you can afford to,” he said. “Stealing something as simple as a candy bar can result in having a theft charge and a fine to pay. You should really ask yourself it it’s worth it.”

Chief Robinson encourages all citizens to come by the Rayville Police Department at 900 Harrison St. or to call 318-728-4431 if you need his help in any way. If he is not in the office, you can  leave a message and he will return your call.
