Police Report

The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Feb. 28 through March 6.

• Sylvia McDonald, 49, 201 Church St., Rayville; simple battery.

• Sherry Hardy, 41, 5132 Federal Hwy 80, Rayville; simple battery and harassment.

• Joseph Williams, 42, 209 Meadowlark St., Rayville; disturbing the peace by loud music.

• Breonicca McClain, 22, 11 Camile St., Rayville; disturbing the peace by profanity and disobedience to an officer.

• One juvenile was charged with simple battery.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of three traffic citations this week. That number includes one each for speeding, careless operation with an accident and no driver’s license.

Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson would like to advise everyone to make sure they lock their vehicle doors and let the windows up before they get out of the vehicle. He would like to tell everyone, if they see any suspicious activities, please do not hesitate to call the Rayville Police Department.
