Police Report

The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Feb. 6-13.

• Winston House, 31, 411 Madeline St., Apt. 304, Rayville; simple assault.

• Gary Collins, 21, 504 Spruce St., Rayville; simple criminal trespassing.

• Tashinra Glover, 38, 305 Rosa St., Rayville; damage to property.

• Amanda Smith, 31, 316 Russell St., Apt. 12, Rayville; simple battery.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of nine traffic citations this week. That number includes three for no motor vehicle inspection, two for no license place and one each for speeding failure to yield with an accident, running a stop sign and expired license plate.

Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson would like to advise all citizens of Rayville to secure your home and vehicle.

He stated when you leave your house, you should be sure to check all of your windows and doors to make sure they are locked. He said you should make sure you lock your vehicle when you are parked at home.
