Police Report

The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Dec. 12-19.

• Corey Murphy, 29, 107 Donna St., Rayville; unauthorized use of a moveable.

• Deveney Quinn, 23, 1502 Julia St., Rayville; disturbing the peace by fighting.

• Tashira Glover, 37, 305 Rosa St., Rayville; driving under suspension and damage to property.

• Jessie Jamieson, 26, 638 Hwy 183, Rayville; brake lights, driving under suspension, expired MVI over 6 months, two tail lights required, unsafe vehicle and head lights.

• James Kennedy, 9 Insurance Road, Rayville; remaining after being forbidden.

• Paula Matthews, 54, 307 Jones St., Rayville; disturbing the peace by fighting.

• Naheyl Hunter, 22, 307 Jones St., Rayville; disturbing the peace by fighting.

• Malcolm Hunter, 20, 307 Jones St., Rayville; disturbing the peace by fighting.

• Antwon Quaulls, 33, 116B South Circle Drive, Rayville; damage to property.

• Adeitre Muhammad, 24, 210B Coenen Drive, Rayville; damage to property.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 5 traffic citations this week. 

That number includes one each for failure to register vehicle, violation of registration, no proof of insurance, improper lane usage and improper display.

Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson would like to say he prays everyone has a Merry Christmas and is safe. He stated everyone should continue to make sure your doors are locked on your vehicles and make sure all of the windows are completely up. Chief Robinson would like to remind everyone to never leave their vehicle running unattended unless you lock it up and have an extra key to get back in it.

Chief Robinson would like to remind the public theRayville Police Department is open 24/7. 

“If you have an issue with someone do not physically solve it,” he said. “If you could not talk it out, please come by or call the Rayville Police Department so we can take care of the problem.”
