Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson advised all citizens of Rayville that violence is never an acceptable way to resolve an issue. He stated that sometimes it ends in a bad way.

Chief Robinson stated that if someone is causing a disturbance, the best thing to do is call the police station so that the officers could take care of the problem.

“Unfortunately, some situations that start small can turn into a big situation,” he said. “Trouble is easy to get into but sometimes is hard to get out of.”

Chief Robinson would like to encourage all citizens to report any suspicious persons, vehicles or activities to the Rayville Police Department.

“If you need our assistance in any way, please feel free to come by our office at 900 Harrison St.,” he said. “You can also call our office at 318-728-4431.”
