A boy asked his father, “Dad, what is the size of God?

Then the father looked up at the sky and saw a plane and asked his son. “What is the size of this plane?” 

The boy replied: “It is very small, I can hardly see it.”  

Then, the father took him to the airport and as they approached the plane, he asked, “Now, my son, how big is this plane?

 The boy replied “Wow dad, it’s huge!”

 Then the father told him “God’s size depends on how close or far you are to him. The closer you are to Him, the greater and greater He will be in you life.”

Leo and Carlyn Lyle motored down to Baton Rouge last weekend to visit with Jason and Laney Lyle, Josie, Deacon and Mia. While their they enjoyed Jason’s birthday with birthday dinner at the restaurant. Had a great week and visit and a safe trip home.

Here on Monday was Dan and Carol Little from West Monroe. They had to bring her truck to the chevy place for its “check up” so they come on out to check on me. They are so sweet!

Sunday at the store was sorta quite. I suppose everyone stayed home to watch the Saints game. Oh my Goodness!

 My ice cream friends were Joe and Mary Lynn Brugnicjk, Mary Lynn would not get out so I went to the car can we had the best visit while Joe ate his cone in the store and visited with Vanessa. They say they will be back. I hope.

Kenny and Rebecca Johnston stopped in on Monday early. They had been to Holly Ridge Elementary to have breakfast on “Grandparents Day” with their grandchildren. I’m proud they got up early to go.

Our sincere sympathy goes out to the family of Mrs. Peggy Rawls who has taken her heavenly flight. May God bless each one touched by her death.

Tanja Thompson had her daughter, Niki Thompson, Turnan and Teagan here from Vicksburg for the weekend.
