The Dragons moved the ball inside the one-yard line before the Bears were able to intercept a pass and run it back to the 43 yard line, but three plays later, the Dragons were able to regain possession.

A hand off up middle let Wilmore pick up enough for a first down. Pleasant then connected with a pass for 20 yards. A hand off to Wilmore brought it to the five yard line and a second and goal for the Dragons. Pleasant handed off to Wilmore for the touchdown. The extra point was no good and the score stood at 19-0 with 8:36 on the clock.

Delhi tried to mount another attack but was stopped at the 50-yard line by the Mangham defense.

The second half of the scrimmage started with the Dragons intercepting a pass and moving the ball downfield until Smith again capped the drive with a touchdown for a 31-6 lead.

The next half saw Delhi fighting to make a comeback as Mangham’s JV team took the field. Key plays by Michael Johnson, Diego Rosales and Merritt Coenen kept the Bears away from the end zone and the game ended 31-6 in favor of the Dragons.
