Patsy Weaver McDonald was born on Aug. 24, 1938, in Vienna, Louisiana, to the late Ulyses Weaver and the late Bertie Mae Weaver and was called home to be with her Lord on Dec. 20, 2025, in Bastrop. Patsy was a stayat- home mom for years later working as a TSA agent at Shreveport Airport.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandchildren, Scott and Cody McDonald; her parents; and her siblings, Dorothy, Billy and Bobby.

Patsy leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Jeffrey McDonald (Anna); and their children, Melissa (Micheal), Jake and Cole McDonald; and Paul McDonald (Rosemary) and their son, Taylor McDonald (Kaylee); her brother, Dr. Willie Weaver (Carolyn); along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
