He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Robinson Littleton; father, James Robert Littleton; mother, Catherine Taylor Littleton; and brother, Huey Littleton.

He is survived by his faithful sisters-in-law, Jewellene Adams Robinson and Carol Baker Robinson; and his cousin, Billy Joe Littleton. Also mourning his loss are his nephews, Bennie Robinson, Mark Robinson and Michael Robinson.

Herron was retired from International Paper and St. Francis Medical Center. His last years were spent at Ouachita Healthcare, where he was loved by all who knew him.

Graveside services, under the direction of BrownHolley Funeral Home of Rayville, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at Start Cemetery in Start with the Rev. Bob Holloway officiating.
