Tim Michael McCullar was born in Cleveland, Sunflower County, Mississippi on July 14, 1966, and passed away on the evening of October 29, 2025.

Tim attended West Monroe High School and continued his studies at Louisiana Tech in Ruston, majoring in music. He then traveled to California where he worked toward having his music produced and published. Years later Tim attended Louisiana Delta Community College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences in Industrial Instrumentation Technology. Tim used that knowledge while working at University of Louisiana - Monroe, in the IT department and with his recording and music work. He was very proud to have finished his college coursework later in life and his career at ULM.

Tim felt most at peace in the countryside and thought of it as “home sweet home.” He loved to star gaze, locate nocturnal insects and creatures with his daughter, Ruby, and compose and play his wonderful music. He was a rock ‘n roll guitarist, among the very best who hail from Northeast Louisiana. He was so happy, full of life, and made many plans for his future. Tim knew his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was patient, kind and loved his family deeply. He will be truly missed by all.

Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar and Cora McCullar; Roy and Zelma McCluskey; his father, Rev. Hubert Edgar McCullar; his brother, Bobby Allen Jenkins, and his nephew, John Allen Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife, Molly Jeter McCullar, their daughter, Ruby Leigh and bonus son, Charlie Pealer; his mother, Gladys McCluskey McCullar; sisters, Deborah Dunn (Johnny), Gail Clark (Michael), father-in-law, Doyle Jeter; mother-in-law, Yvette Jeter; brother-inlaw, John Jeter (Jennifer).

Tim leaves his nieces, Meagan Skipper (Aaron); Melissa Ferguson Merriken (Joe); Nicole Johnson Wrinkle (Jay); Miranda McFarlin Wilson (Jackie); and nephews, Shawn Paul Jenkins (Jennifer), Patrick Steven Jenkins, Anthony Michael McFarlin (Ashley); John Calvin Jeter, Jr (Zoey), Lara Jayne, and Grayson Jeter.

Tim also leaves a host of great nieces and nephews who will carry his love for them in their hearts: Alana, Oakley, Hendrix, Shelby, Caleb, Christopher, Warrick, Porter, Chloe, Preston, Bevan, Eli, Jay, Landon, Jenna, Jaxson, Austin, Asher, Ace, Colton, Gabriel, Kadance, Adalaigh, and Griffin.
