Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Jan. 8-17.

A total of 18 adults were charged. That included six for theft less than $100, two for switched plates and one each for failure to register vehicle, no insurance, simple criminal trespass, simple battery, driving under suspension, aggravated assault, open container, cruelty to a juvenile, reckless operation and improper child restraint.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 16 traffic citations this week. 

That number includes 10 for speeding and one each for improper backing with accident, off road vehicle on roadway, reckless operation, leaving the scene of an accident, careless operation and no seatbelt.
