The Bryn and Harrison Thompson Memorial Foundation will host its annual Mom, Me & Christmas Tea in honor and memory of Bryn Thompson on Dec. 20 at Planter’s Warehouse in Rayville.
This cherished community tradition continues to grow each year. The 10 a.m. tea is fully booked, but a limited number of seats remain for the 2 p.m. seating. Reservations may be made at thompsonmemorialfoundation. org.
All proceeds from the Rayville tea will be used to purchase American Girl Dolls for donation to the Bella Bowman Foundation in Baton Rouge, which serves children admitted for cancer treatment at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital and the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic.
“Each year, I have the privilege of hand-delivering many of these dolls alongside the Bella Bowman Foundation team,” Kasey Thompson said. “Together, we are able to bring joy not only to St. Jude patients, but also to pediatric patients hospitalized at Our Lady of the Lake on the day of the event.”
Anyone wishing to donate a doll may visit thompsonmemorialfoundation. org.
“It fills my heart during the holiday season to share this precious tradition that Bryn and I loved so much,” Thompson said. “Through hosting this event, our foundation is able to bring laughter, joy and lasting memories to mothers and daughters in our community, and with the generosity of our donors, that same joy is carried into the hospital rooms of children who need a little extra hope this Christmas.”
