The Town of Mangham has been awarded full funding through the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund, securing $1.3 million for major wastewater system improvements.
The project includes a system-wide CCTV inspection of sewer mains and all manholes, corrective work such as CIPP lining and pipe repairs, and rehabilitation of existing manholes.
Plans also call for renovation of a lift station with upgraded pumps, motors, piping, and electrical components, along with the construction of a new chlorine contact chamber and installation of a new de-chlorination tablet dispenser.
Town officials said the improvements will enhance environmental protection and ensure reliable wastewater service for residents well into the future.
“We’re grateful to LDEQ, Shuler Consulting Company, and everyone who helped make this possible for our community,” Mangham Mayor Charlotte Boone said.
