Delta Head Start celebrated its annual M.A.C.H.O. Day (Men and Children Hanging Out) on Oct. 31, encouraging fathers and other male role models to spend quality time with children in the classroom.
The event was designed to strengthen family bonds and highlight the importance of male involvement in early childhood education. Activities included classroom visits, trick-ortreating and a shared lunch for participants.
Male figures invited to take part included dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, older brothers and mentors. Each was encouraged to participate in hands-on learning experiences and holiday fun alongside their children.
The Rayville High School Band also performed during the celebration, adding music and excitement to the day’s festivities.
Delta Head Start officials thanked everyone who contributed to making M.A.C.H.O. Day a memorable event for both students and families.
