Rayville High School was alive with excitement as students, staff, alumni and the community came together to celebrate Homecoming 2025.
This year’s theme, “Once a Hornet, Always a Hornet,” perfectly captured the pride, tradition, and unity that make Rayville High so special.
The week was filled with spirited dress-up days, class competitions and a high-energy pep rally that brought out the best of Hornet pride. The Homecoming Parade on Friday afternoon was one of the highlights of the week, featuring colorful floats, the Rayville High Marching Band, cheerleaders, dance team and community organizations showing off their Hornet spirit.
Earlier in the week, the school hosted its annual Homecoming Coronation, a beautiful evening filled with elegance, excitement and community pride.
This year’s Homecoming Court included Freshman Maid Nykenzie Nealon, Sophomore Maids Syriah Ellis and Tarahji Williams, Junior Maid Lawanna Glass, Miss Green Jayla Wilson, Miss Gold Naziya Wilson, Senior Maids Laila Robinson and Messiah Thomas, Maid of Honor Kahnya Naylor and Homecoming Queen LaTashia Reynolds.
Rayville High School extends a heartfelt thank-you to Delhi High School, Delhi Charter School, Madison Parish High School, Rayville Junior High and Mangham High School for attending and supporting this year’s coronation. Their presence truly helped make the evening unforgettable.
The festivities concluded with the Homecoming game and dance, where students, alumni, and fans came together to celebrate a week full of spirit, pride and lasting memories.
Homecoming 2025 once again proved that the spirit of Rayville High School runs deep – and no matter where life takes you, you’ll always be a Hornet at heart.
