1 medium Louisiana sweet potato, peeled and cubed (1-inch) 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced 1 small turnip, peeled and cubed 1 small rutabaga or parsnip, peeled and cubed 1/2 small red onion, sliced 1 tbsp olive oil or Louisiana pecan oil - may also use olive oil spray 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp dried thyme 1/2 tsp rosemary (fresh or dried) Salt and pepper to taste Optional: 1 tsp maple syrup or cane syrup for a touch of sweetness
Instructions:
