Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department has reported the following activity for the week of Oct. 6-12.
Criminal arrests were made for disobedience to a police officer, theft less than $1,000, disturbing the peace by simple drunk (two counts), simple battery, hit and run, and no driver’s driv-
license.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of seven traffic citations this week. That number includes two for speeding and one each for improper lane change, failure to yield, no driver’s license, no license plate and running a stop sign.
