Richardson Medical Center will host a 2025 Medicare Workshop at 3 p.m. on Oct. 16 in the classroom at the hospital.
The session is designed to help attendees better understand Medicare and make informed decisions ahead of the 2026 annual open enrollment period. Topics will include what Medicare is, when and how to apply, comparing employer coverage to Medicare, and how to advocate for loved ones.
The workshop will also cover protecting against identity theft and scams, using local resources, maximizing medical benefits, changes to Medicare Part D, and understanding Medicare costs.
