Delhi Charter names homecoming court

Delhi Charter School has announced its 2025 homecoming queen, senior Destiny Griffin, who will reign over this year’s festivities alongside her court.

Serving with Griffin are Senior Princess Laila Robinson and Senior Maid Olivia Clark. Junior maids are Zoriyah Allen and Brandi Jenson, with Kaylee Osborn and Payton Thomas representing the sophomore class. Freshman maids are Ka’Leyah Jones and Dani Mize.

Delhi Charter will also honor its senior football players during homecoming week. They are Bradley Wiggins, Jonas Carroll, Markel Dunn, Preston Polhamus, Mason Osborn, Lee Jones and Joseph Searcy.

Homecoming will be celebrated Oct. 13-17 on campus in “the Swamp.” This year’s theme is “Once Upon A Gator.” Students are encouraged to take part in daily dress-up activities:

• Monday – “Virtual Day” (Tag DCS in your nerdy outfits or pajamas)

• Tuesday – Heroes vs. Villains

• Wednesday – Marvel vs. DC

• Thursday – Favorite Childhood Show Character

• Friday – Blue and Orange Explosion
