The Wellspring will host a Joint SAFER Task Force Meeting from noon to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 8, at Life Church, 127 Ellis Lane, Winnsboro.
The meeting will feature guest speaker Kris Barney of DART. Lunch will be provided for attendees.
The task force is a collaboration of professionals and community members who work with victims and perpetrators of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. The joint meeting is part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and will provide an opportunity to connect with partners, share resources, and strengthen efforts toward safer communities.
